Tasks Ahead -1 : Evolving the courses of studies in Interfaith Understanding

Evolving the Courses of Studies from standard 1 to standard 15 will require a preliminary discussion at local level. The Discussant group may include a representative each from Departments of Hindi, Sanskrit, Islamic Studies, Theology, Persian, Arabic, Urdu, Philosophy, and any other discipline as deemed desirable. 2. A working paper may be circulated to the invitees to give them an idea of the Issue Involved. The discussants will be requested to bring their noting as they think appropriate, thrashing out their ideas concerning the courses of studies in the discipline. 3. Experts, as may be helpful in evolving the said Course may be invited in the next meeting to meet at Aligarh itself. The discussants may suggest the names of the invitees from outside Aligarh to meet here and help evolve the required courses. These experts may be drawn from the Universities, Research Institutions and other walks of life, as known for their interest in the Discipline and the Cause, and capable of delivering the goods. An intensive discussion may help reach certain definite conclusions as to the guidelines of the courses of the studies. 4. A request, alongwith the preliminary working paper may be sent to a few selected Universities to consider to establish such Centres of Studies in Interfaith Understanding as a discipline of the university so that all of us rise to combine their strong support to the intellectuals of the nation as also to the common man who wish to pass their lives in peace and amity and are interested in the growth and development of the nation’s resources to reduce sickness and poverty and wipe out the tears from the weeping, crying and dying eyes. If the invited universities agree, a meeting of the interested ones may be held to consider the details concerning the matter.
